THINKING ABOUT THE LIES OF THOSE WHO SAY WE CAN ONLY BE EVIL IN THE SENSE THAT WE FAIL TO BE GOOD FOR EVIL IS NOT "REAL"

Religion famously says God creates only good.  Evil is regarded as nothing in its own right.  It is not a power.  It is just a failure of good to be as good as it can be.  There is nothing there to make so the question of God making evil does not arise.

As if it were that simple!

EVIL IS TRYING TO MAKE EVIL POWER

The God people say evil is a negative, a space where good should be but is not. If I desire to create evil for its own sake that desire is a power and it is real. It is not just the absence of goodness. Even if I cannot create evil for its own sake, I am succeeding in the sense that I am going as far as I can though perhaps not successfully in creating it. It is said that moral rules cannot command you do to what you cannot do so why can't immoral rules be the same?  Trying to be pure evil fulfils the will of whatever would ask you to be pure evil.

You did not make the desire.  So God is evil if he made it.

Is not using good defectively far worse than creating what is evil in itself? Open evil is better than evil that looks good and distorts good. It cannot attract people or hide its true nature to do more harm in the long-term than crafty hidden evil would.

But remember that if evil is real it can disguise itself as a mere absence of good.

We know a person can have a totally evil intention. The power to intend may be good but the direction the intention is put in is a separate thing. A lack of a good intention can make space for real evil, evil as in a power, to come in.  You can make a void that you think lacks good and not know that there is in fact a real evil power in there.  Intending to make a space does not mean you really end up with a space.  Evil as in power may be waiting for you to make a space for it to lurk in.

Evil making a lack does not mean that evil that is a power rather than a lack cannot exist. The evil is a negation thing definitely implies that evil people are not so bad!  If that is untrue then it causes grave harm to their victims and leaves a lot of people open to diabolic monsters.

You can use a good thing such as a knife to do harm intentionally. But religion says that using it does not mean that the harming is totally vile and totally evil so maybe the harm is a lack rather than a positive evil. When you can't make something evil enough the fact remains that trying to is totally evil. That is because it is not your fault that you are unable to make it evil enough. It is not your fault that you are unable to make a good thing such as using a knife totally evil.

God surely knows that.  If he tells us to deny it then he clearly does have bad intentions.  The big lie is that making evil a lack means that all evil is just a lack.  Evil being a lack and evil being different from that and being a power are compatible.  By calling him all-good creator you are complicit in the trick.
