WHY HUMAN NATURE INHERENTLY NEEDS TO SEE SUFFERING AND EVIL WITHOUT TINTED GLASSES

There is a problem with human nature. We need difficulties and threats to be ourselves and to thrive. Now if we see no physical threats and dangers our mind will start playing tricks on us. The brain will invent and imagine threats. The brain concocts dangers to run from and dangers to fight. Perception becomes "perception".  It needs serious problems to think about and to solve.

Strong believers in God don’t see problems as a big deal. They can face suffering and death in a way that shocks those of us who wonder how they do it. Weaker believers may see terrible things as less bad as God’s hand is there and he is working for their good. These things seem good but they are not when the brain needs to perceive and deal with THE POSSIBILITY AND THREAT OF REAL SUFFERING IN ALL ITS HORROR.  If that is not done, feeling okay about one threat means nothing for the person has to direct the fear at something else.

Religion is fond of belief in bad gods, devils, bad magic, hell-deserving sin, capital punishment, a God who lets horrendous suffering happen and the end of the world.  Now you know what human instinct is behind that.

To distort your own vision of evil and threats means you will do this with relation to your children as well.
