The Need to Protest Against the Church
Protest is not an option but a need
“I swore never to be silent whenever and wherever human beings endure suffering
and humiliation. We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor,
never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” - Elie
Wiesel
You must and should consider abandoning the Roman Catholic Church and similar
religions and getting your name off their books.
It is not bigoted to condemn what should be condemned and to say that a practice
or doctrine is loathsome when that is what it is.
We must be careful however to remember that the idea of free will is false so
though we can despise the evil of say Roman Catholicism we must not despise the
victims of the cult.
If your language is strong and offensive it may only be offensive to those who
are more concerned about their feelings than about being corrected with
frankness. You have the right to be out to do a pruning job and pruning is
painful but beneficial.
The Roman Church and similarly dangerous religion is not afraid to use offensive
language in the name of love so why should we be afraid? The Bible is full of
abusive hatred towards those who do not honour the “one true God”. We will not
start imitating it but we will be blunt. For friends, we will have those who
know or suspect that the Catholic Church and similar dark religions are not
healthy forces. Perhaps the believers should not read our writings or listen to
us if they are so easily offended that they get mad when told that their creed
is harmful. Our condemnations should not involve attacking ordinary believers
who don’t know what they have got into. Direct the anger at the hierarchy and
the pope and believers/Catholics who do know. The ones that do know are the real
believers/Catholics – they are the ones we are telling off. Catholicism is one
of some religions in the world that thrives best and is best promoted by people
not taking it seriously.
Bluntness and forceful talk are sometimes required for being too nice sometimes
gets you nowhere and the Church will say that when its critics are so nice that
they don’t really care about ruining the faith because they know the faith is
right.
Outrage is necessary when an organisation teaches evil doctrines and undermines
human rights.
The Roman Catholic Church and its faith are harmful. It and religions that are
as bad must get away with it no longer. Do not participate in a religion's lies
and crimes by silence but protest and put the pressure on.
