A religion that takes your money should not be preaching at you but with you

I feel that as the Church lives off donations from its members it should create a happy home for them. Without their money there would be no Church. People say a religion is entitled to preach whatever it believes God said. But is it? Holy books say God condemns homosexuality and loving sexual relationships outside of marriage. Thus they oppose fundamental human rights. For example, an unmarried couple with children should not be made to feel they are less than ideal for they have not married or are still married to other people. The right to give the people what they demand is more important than the right of religion to teach what it thinks is from God. Each religion should be a democracy and be happy to change teachings when new light comes.
